About the event
This is a safe and open space to talk about life, death and dying in the company of others who also want to explore the topic of death.
Death is often a taboo topic but at the Death Cafe you can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings and opinions about death without worrying about judgment.
This two hour event is non specific to any particular topic about death and allows you to decide what you want to share and talk about.
Coffee, tea and baked goods are offered as part of your suggested donation of $10. If a. donation is too much for you at this time you are still welcome to attend the cafe.
We ask that you attend the Death Cafe with an open heart and mind that leaves room for others to have their own feelings and beliefs about death.
This is NOT a grief support group, therapy or counseling about death, rather it is a simple way to gather and talk openly and honestly about all things life and death.
This event does NOT work, for whatever reason, for those who aren't able to talk about death.
Please note this is an alcohol free event and any one person who shows signs of intoxication will be turned away.
